Edwin John Glaub, 91, of Richmond, Indiana formerly of Connersville, passed away Wednesday evening, February 28, 2018 at Reid Health, of Richmond.
One of six children of Frank and Barbara Bleill Glaub, Edwin was born on December 17, 1926 in St. Leon, Indiana.
On August 18, 1951, he married the former Betty Amrhein at St. Michael Catholic Church, Brookville. Mrs. Glaub passed away on March 10, 2008.
He was a life-long member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church.
For many years, he was employed at the Connersville News-Examiner until his retirement.
He enjoyed being at home and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Survivors include two daughters, Mary (Larry) Frasur of Richmond, Indiana and Anita (Donald Jeffrey) Scott, of Fishers, Indiana; four grandchildren, Marie (Tim) Dowling of Niceville, Florida, Michael (Heather) Parsley of Muncie, Indiana, Brian Scott and fiance’ Marissa Parr of Bloomington, Indiana, and David Scott of Indianapolis; four great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Besides his wife of 56 years, Betty Glaub, Edwin was preceded in death by his parents; four sisters, Alma Ripberger, Lucille Mockelstrom, Matilda Turner and Alice Bailey; his brother, Louis Glaub and a infant grandson, Jeffrey Parsley.
Funeral services will be celebrated at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, March 3, 2018 at Miller, Moster, Robbins Funeral Home with Reverend Dustin Boehm officiating. Burial will follow in Dale Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the service on Saturday with the Rosary to be recited at 10:30 A.M.
Memorial contributions may be given to St. Gabriel Catholic Church.
