Lucian Marshall, of Everton, passed away Wednesday, February 14, 2018, at the home of his daughter in Jackson, Kentucky.
The oldest of thirteen children of the late Ed and Betty Thomas Marshall, Lucian was born in Owsley County, Kentucky on March 27, 1931.
Lucian married the former Shirley Jean Bowling in 1958 and they spent 58 wonderful years together. Mrs. Marshall passed away on March 18, 2017.
Lucian was a great and kind person with a big heart. All of Lucian's family have a piece of their heart missing now; he will deeply be missed and always remembered. He has resided in Everton area since 1967. He loved the outdoors and was a master at gardening and raising burley tobacco. Lucian retired from Design & Manufacturing after 28 years in the Porcelain Department.
Survivors include his children, Debbie (Rick) Roberts of Connersville, Peggy (Lonnie) Turner of Jackson, Kentucky, Donna Marshall of Jackson, Kentucky, Kenneth Marshall of Everton, and Vicky (Todd) Dalton of Lonsdale, Minnesota; eleven grandchildren, Victor (Sarah) Roberts, Willie Roy "Bubby" Turner, Lesley (Brad) Tipton, Dustin (Angela) Turner, Ashley (Travis) Barrett, Tyler Marshall, Ethan Turner, Michael Lucian Marshall, Jr., Timothy Murrell, Travis (Christy) Murrell, Chad Marshall; nine great grandchildren; a brother, Eddie (Stella) Marshall of Booneville, Kentucky; and three sisters, Jody Campbell of Booneville, Kentucky, Gladys Price of Beattyville, Kentucky, Phyllis Marshall of Kentucky; and a daughter-in-law, Renee Marshall of Oxford, Ohio.
Besides his wife, Shirley Marshall, Lucian was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Michael (Renee) Marshall; seven sisters, Lois Hall, Alpha Dunahoo, Viola Marshall, Ruby Patterson, Margie Marshall, Kathy Mayes, and Evon Marshall; and one brother, Dale Marshall.
Family and friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 17, 2018, at Miller, Moster, Robbins Funeral Home. Pastor Tom Marshall will officiate. Burial will follow at Everton Cemetery.
