Mary was born July 28, 1922 in New Castle, Indiana, to Charles H. and Maud G. (Dinkins) Erhart.  Mary was the fourth child of six in the Erhart family.  On September 7, 1941, she wed the love of her life, Tommy Robbins, in New Port, Kentucky.  Mary and Tom traveled extensively while Tom was in the Army, settling in initially in Connersville, Indiana where Mary helped transcribe musical arrangements for Tommy’s dance band. In 1957, they moved to St. Joe when Tom started working in sales management at Whirlpool Corporation.

Mary was a fabulous cook, a talented artist and a “green thumb” gardener extraordinaire.  Mary also enjoyed golfing and traveling with Tommy. She took great pride in her home and spent many happy hours planning and creating her many beautiful gardens.  Her interests demonstrated not only artistic talent but a sense of whimsical humor as well.  But Mare’s true calling in life was hospitality. She was a gracious hostess who made everyone who entered her home feel welcome, but her #1 priority was always Tom.  They were an amazing couple married for 75 years. She cared for Tom until a little over a year ago when he passed away in her arms at age 99.  Mare will be remembered for her open heart, youthful spirit and contagious laugh.

Mary is survived by her adoptive children: Kathy Brintnall of  Sanibel, FL; John (Marsha) Brintnall of Bloomington, MN; and Jim Brintnall of Wheaton, IL; and their numerous children and grandchildren. She also is survived by six nieces and nephews namely: Debbie Earhart Armstrong, of Mississippi, Nancy Erhart McKinley, Terry Erhart, Janice Erhart Hostetler, Bernard Erhart, all  of Indiana, and Pam Erhart of Arkansas.

Mary was preceded in death by her siblings, Delores M. Erhart, Richard P. Erhart, Irvin L. Erhart, Homer D. Erhart, and Bernard C. Erhart.
