Karolyn and Kris, Family & Friends,
I am deeply saddened by the loss of Jim. He was such an amazing person. I REALLY enjoyed my time with him playing guitar and learning from him. I have memories of him ever since I was a little kid, either playing guitar at Church or handing out candy at Halloween. All of them make me smile and I hope God gives you all comfort knowing he is in the Best Place EVER and no longer suffers.

Thank you for "Being In My Dash", extending your friendship, and imparting your knowledge with me. For these things and much more, I deeply thank you. You will be missed.
Your Friend,

Rita Jones

Karolyn and Chris,

Just wanted to let you know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. I was not all that close to Jim, but close enough to know that he was a great dad and husband. So sorry for your loss. If you need anything please do not hesitate to give me a call.

My sincere sympathy to the family of James J. Buckler. We were classmates at Saint Meinrad High School. I never knew he was born in Batesville - my home town - just 16 days after I was born!

May the Lord bless and keep you and may He trun his face to you and give you peace. May Jesus and all the saints welcome Jim into eternal life.

I had not thought of Jim since my college days at St. Meinrad. I think I remember him playing in the group with Charlie, Paul Gabbonay, wow....memory sure goes after 60. But I think he played the acoustic bass and sang. Remember the smile. Just wanted to express sorrow at your loss. Read the obit, but I know that it surely does not express or sumarize a life...there is much more. I pray that the Lord give you comfort and give Jim rest.
