LaDonna J. "Nannie" Fraley, 40, of Connersville, went home to be with the Lord in the early morning on July 9th, 2008 at Reid Hospital and Health Care Services in Richmond, Indiana after an 18 month long battle with esophageal cancer. Although she had been ill, her death was very unexpected.
She was born in Connersville on September 14, 1967, the daughter of Donald and Hazel Woodruff Pollitt.
On June 23, 1997, LaDonna was married to her best friend, Marvin Fraley. Mr. Fraley survives.
She had been a lifelong resident of Connersville and attended the Fayette County Schools. Until her retirement in December 2006 due to health reasons, LaDonna was a loyal worker at Containerkraft Incorporated. She was a member of New Life Southern Baptist Church in Sunman, Indiana.
LaDonna was a lover of motorcycle riding and traveling with her husband, family and friends. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially her three grandsons.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by a step-son, Stephen Fraley and wife, Karen; a step-daughter, Renee Shadley and husband, Randy; three grandsons: RJ Shadley, Dustin Fraley and Dylan Fraley; six brothers: Randy Pollitt and wife, Vicky of Liberty, IN, David Pollitt and wife, Teresa of Gwenville, IN, Nelson Sizemore, Alvin Woodruff, Garald Pollitt and wife, Carolyn, Art Pollitt and companion, Veronica Messer all of Connersville; and beloved niece, Amber Dare and husband, Jack; of Connersville; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted by the Reverend Melvin Barrows, pastor of the New Life Southern Baptist Church, at 10 AM, Saturday, July 12, 2008 in Miller, Moster, Robbins Funeral Home. Burial will be in Dale Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 PM on Friday.
It would be appreciated if all the family and friends who own a motorcycle would ride them in the funeral procession, if the weather permits, as a tribute for the love that LaDonna had for this particular pastime.
A special request made from LaDonna and Marvin is for family and friends to make special contributions to the Fayette County Cancer Society in lieu of sending plants and flowers.

Marvin, what can I say brother? I'm really sorry that LaDonna lost her battle againt cancer but you know she put up a gallant fight. She was a strong and courageous woman.
You also know she's in a better place with no more pain. I know how much you two mean to each other so I know your loss is hard to take.
Stay strong, Marvin, and realize that you are in the thoughts and prayers of many people. You have my sincere sympathy.
My condolences also go to the Pollitt family and all of LaDonna's family. Kimball.

Marvin, I wanted to add that although I was unable to attend the funeral this morning, you and your family were in my thoughts. Steve told me how moving the service was and about the LaDonna's last trip here on earth, I am sure she would have been so pleased and proud that you did all of this for her! Take care...

Daddy...What can I say? I love you more than anything and there is nothing that I would not do to help you get through this terrible crossroad in your life. Just know that Nannie is, and always will be, watching over you. She is always by your side, if not in person...definately in spirit. You each were two halves and together became whole. I am so grateful that I was blessed to have been there to see all the love and devotion that you two shared with one another. There will never be another "ANGEL" like her. I love you and know that I am always with you!! Love, Your Baby Girl...
