Nancy Jean Foreman, 58, formerly of Connersville, passed away Friday evening, January 22, 2010 at Citrus Memorial Hospital in Inverness, Florida.
She was born October 20, 1951 in Connersville, one of seven children of Edward and Josephine Steele Lucas. A Lifelong resident of Connersville, she attended the Fayette County Schools.
On January 27, 1973, she was married in Connersville to Robert E. “Bob” Foreman. Mr. Foreman died June 26, 2005.
Nancy was proud to have earned her GED as an adult and later earned her certification as a Certified Dietary Manager.
For more than 19 years she was employed at Caroleton Manor in Connersville in the Dietary Department.
She attended the Greater Vision Church and the Grandview Word of Life Church.
In her leisure she loved to cook, enjoyed camping, music and traveling.
Survivors include: three children: Albert Moore and wife, Tammy, Paula J. Moore and Sandra Rea and husband, Gilbert Jr., all of Connersville; 14 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; two brothers: Eddie “Sonny” Lucas of Connersville and Johnny Lucas of Arkansas; three sisters: Joyce McFall and husband, Robert, of Glenwood, Indiana, Beverly Higbie and husband, Melvin, of Connersville and Kathy Estes and husband, Larry, of Connersville; and her companion, Garvin Foreman of Clearwater, Florida; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband, Robert E “Bob” Foreman, she was preceded in death by a son, Robert “Bobby” Foreman, Jr., who died December 4, 1999; her parents; two sisters: Dorothy Foreman and Darlene Duncan; and two brothers: Stanley Lucas and Randall Lucas.
Funeral services will be conducted by Reverend Larry Callahan at 1 PM Thursday, January 28, 2010 at Miller, Moster, Robbins Funeral Home, where friends may call from 4 -8 PM on Wednesday. Burial will be in Lick Creek Cemetery.
