Brenda F. Massey, 65, of Connersville, died Saturday morning, January 30, 2010 at Fayette Regional Health System.
She was born December 11, 1944 in Union County, Indiana, the daughter of William McKinley and Kattie P. Pearson Keen. She moved to Connersville with her family as a child in August 1947.
On June 22, 1964, she was married in Rushville to Richard L. Massey. Mr. Massey died February 17, 2008.
A member of the Community Gospel Church, Brenda enjoyed attending church, traveling, camping, spending time with her dogs and her grandchildren.
Survivors include her four children: Everett L. Massey of Connersville, Robert J. Massey and wife, April of Connersville, Theresa Stevens of Richmond, Terry Massey and wife, Rhonda of Connersville; 14 grandchildren; one great grandson; two sisters: Bronzie Isaacs and husband, Junior, of Connersville and Frances Jones and husband, Bob of Connersville; five brothers: Robert Johnson and wife, Donna, Burgess Johnson and companion, Lorette Roszell, McKinley Keen and wife, Donna, William Keen and wife, Emma Lee, Mark Keen and wife, Debbie, all of Connersville; a number of nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband, Richard L. Massey; she is preceded in death by her parents; a sister Jessie Isaacs; one nephew and one niece.
Funerals services will be conducted by Reverend Robert E. Lee, Pastor of Community Gospel Church at 1 PM on Thursday, February 4, 2010 at Miller, Moster, Robbins Funeral Home, where friends may call from 11 AM until the time of services. Burial will be in Dale Cemetery.
