Rose Mae Brandenburg
Rose Mae Brandenburg, 83 former Connersville resident, died Saturday morning, February 6, 2010 in Interlachen, Florida where she had been a resident for the past 22 years.
She was born March 10, 1926 in Syracuse, New York, the daughter of William Cecil and Bertha Waggoner Nowling.
She was employed for many years at H. H. Robertson in Connersville.
A member of the First Baptist Church in Interlachen, Florida. A former member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles where she served as secretary and auditor. She enjoyed following the Indiana University Basketball Team.
Survivors include her husband of 40 years, Cecil Raymond Brandenburg; her daughter, Vicki Brattain Kim and husband, Erik of Ft. Wayne, IN; a step-daughter, Debbie Parvis, Greenfield, IN; 12 grandchildren; a number of great grandchildren; a sister, Sylvia Harlow of Falmouth, KY and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Brattain Kunkle and a step-daughter, Vickie McBride.
Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Thursday, February 11, 2010 in Miller, Moster, Robbins Funeral Home. Burial will be in Dale Cemetery. Friends may call from 11 AM until 1 PM Thursday.
