Bronzie Lee (Keen) Isaacs, 78, of Connersville passed away Saturday afternoon, March 16, 2019, at Reid Health of Richmond.
She was born September 8, 1940, in Red Lick, Kentucky, one of three daughters of McKinley and Catherine (Lakes) Keen and came to Connersville as a child with her family.
On January 8, 1957, she was married in Connersville to Midford Isaacs, Jr. Mr. Isaacs passed away February 12, 2015.
Bronzie had worked at Visteon for seven years and had been employed at Wal-Mart of Connersville for twelve years before her retirement.
She was a member of the Community Gospel Church. She enjoyed attending church and participating in activities there. In her leisure time, she enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and cooking.
Survivors include two children, A. “Gregg” (Tammy) Isaacs and Karen Isaacs, both of Connersville; a daughter-in-law, April Isaacs, of Connersville; nine grandchildren, Steve (Terra) Lainhart, Christopher Lainhart, April (Chad) Lykins, Megan (Josh) Snyder, Kyle Reisert, Tyler (Alicia) Isaacs, Chelsea (Jeremy) Wilson, Miranda Isaacs and Zachary Isaacs, all of Connersville; twenty-eight great-grandchildren; her sister, Ella Francis (Robert) Jones, of Connersville; brothers, McKinley “Doc” (Donna) Keen, Bill (Emily) Keen and Mark Keen, all of Connersville; a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Besides her husband of 58 years, Midford, Bronzie was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Tony Isaacs who passed away March 22, 2018.
Family and friends may call from 10:00 a.m until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 22, 2019, at Miller, Moster, Robbins Funeral Home. Pastor Robert Lee will officiate. Burial will follow in Dale Cemetery. Family and friends may also visit anytime online at millermosterrobbins.com.
