Christopher Joe Jarrett, 40, of Connersville passed away suddenly Friday afternoon, July 13, 2018.
The son of Larry Joe and Renee Dudley Jarrett, Chris was born on August 24, 1977, in Richmond, Indiana and graduated from Connersville High School with the class of 1995.
On May 10, 1997, Chris married the former Amanda “Mandy” Michelle Hoffman in Springersville Christian Church. Together, they raised two boys, Adam and Alan.
Chris worked at Winslow-Browning Paint Company in Liberty, Indiana and had previously been employed at Advanced Auto and Autozone.
An avid outdoorsman, Chris enjoyed horseback riding, camping, and riding horses at Brown County State Park. He also enjoyed working on and taking care of his cars and trucks.
Besides his wife of 21 years, Mandy Jarrett, survivors include his two sons, Adam Joe Jarrett of Cheyenne, Wyoming and Alan Christopher Jarrett of Connersville; a grandson, Weston Alan Jarrett of Cheyenne; his father, Joe Jarrett and companion, Kathy Fowler of Connersville; a brother, Douglas D.J. Jarrett of Connersville; aunts, Michele (Eric Cantrell) Dudley and Denise Dudley both of Connersville and Rhonda Sue Knipp, of Richmond, IN; uncles, Bruce (Ginger) Dudley and Bob (Mary) Barbour, both of Connersville; two great-aunts, Rita (Danny) Clark of Connersville and Pat Jacobs of Burlington, North Carolina.
Additionally, Chris is survived by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bruce and Lisa Hoffman of Henderson, Nevada; two grandmothers-in-law, Bernice Jobe and Elsie Hofmann, both of Connersville; two brothers-in-law, Erik (Ryann) Hofmann of Henderson, Nevada, and Blake (Stephanie) Hofmann of Las Vegas, Nevada. He is blessed with many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Chris was preceded in death by his mother, Renee Jarrett in May 1998; and maternal grandparents, Ted and Joan Dudley and paternal grandparents, Cecil and Lillian Jarrett.
Family and friends may call from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 18, 2018, at Miller, Moster, Robbins Funeral Home. Ryan Wadsworth will officiate. Interment will follow later at Laurel North Cemetery.
