Conley Bowling, 79 of Cincinnati, Ohio, formerly of Connersville passed away Monday morning, December 3, 2018 at University of Cincinnati Health of West Chester, Ohio.
He was born July 14, 1939 in Jackson County, KY to Mark and Grace Johnson Bowling.
Conley graduated high school from Connersville High School in 1957 and went on to attend Kentucky Wesleyan University and then graduated from the University of Houston in 1975 with a bachelor’s degree in business technology.
After college, he worked for Gulf Oil and Dresser Industries. He completed the majority of his professional career working for Reliant Standard Life and Anthem Insurance Companies.
In his teenage years he developed an appreciation for nice cars and later in life he enjoyed spending time on his boat with family and friends.
Conley is survived by his wife Gayle Bowling whom he married on January 22, 2001; a daughter, Sarah Sorensen and her husband Eric and their daughters Ava and Grace of Boston, MA; a son Marcus Bowling, his wife, Sarah and sons Beau, Benjamin and George, of Indianapolis, IN; a brother, Stanley Wayne Bowling and wife Cindy and nieces Lisa Bowling and Amanda Caudill and husband Michael, both of Connersville. He is also survived by three step-sons, David Geis Jr. and wife Michel and their children David Connor, Dawson and Maycee; Steven Geis and wife, Laura and their children Grayson and Evan; Greg Geis and wife, Heather and their children Hannah, Alysa and Jillian.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 PM Saturday, December 8, 2018 at Miller, Moster, Robbins Funeral Home with Reverend George Nester officiating. Burial will be in Dale Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11 AM until the time of the service on Saturday.
