Connie Lynn Telker, 67, of Connersville, Indiana passed away Saturday afternoon, May 26, 2018, at Fayette Regional Health System. She had been a resident of Heritage House of Connersville.
She was born April 7, 1951, in Corbin, Kentucky, one of three children of Estile Harrison and Geraldine C. (Downs) Hibbard. Connie was a life-long resident of Connersville and was a 1970 graduate of Connersville High School.
She was employed at Macy’s Grocery’s, Marsh Supermarket and later at Landmark of Connersville.
On July 3, 1999, she was married in Connersville to William “Bill” Ambrose Telker. Mr. Telker survives.
In her leisure, she enjoyed reading, especially mystery books and watching her favorite television shows. Connie was an avid NASCAR fan, her favorite driver’s where Jeff Gordon and Dale Earnhardt Jr. Along with her husband, she enjoyed long road trips and spending time with her family and friends.
Besides her husband, Bill Telker, survivors include a daughter, Lisa Ann Hill Kouba, of Marshalltown, Iowa; a step-daughter, Amanda Sue Telker, of Shelbyville; her mother, Geraldine Hibbard, of Connersville; her sister, Peggy Sue (Dale) Turney, of Connersville; her brother, Garry Harrison (Barbara) Hibbard, of Connersville; a niece, Jill (Mike) Unger, of Hickory, North Carolina. Connie is also survived by her mother-in-law, Anna E. Telker, of Connersville; three sisters-in-law, Kathleen (David) Risselman, of Rushville, Linda (Frank) Van Hoegarden, of Lockport, Illinois and Mary Telker, of Connersville; a brother-in-law, Randy Telker, of Connersville; she is blessed with a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her father, Estile Hibbard, who passed away in 2013; a nephew, Todd Hibbard, who passed away in 2015 and a father-in-law, Ambrose Telker, who passed away in 2002.
Funeral services will be held at 1 PM, Monday, June 4, 2018, at Miller, Moster, Robbins Funeral Home where Reverend Jimmy Hibbard will officiate. Burial will be in Dale Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11 AM, Monday until the time of the service. Family and friends may also visit at millermosterrobbins.com.
