Danny F. Moore, 77, of Connersville, passed away early Monday morning, November 5, 2018, at Reid Health, Richmond.

The oldest of eight children of Orville and Marie Berrie Moore, Danny was born in Connersville on December 5, 1940.

Danny served his country in the United States Army from 1959 until 1961.

On May 21, 1988, Danny was married to the former Lenora Mae Hudson in First Baptist Church by Reverend Kenneth W. Chandler.  Mrs. Moore survives.

Danny was employed as Production Foreman at Custom Extrusion from 1963 until his retirement in 1999 after 36 years of service.  In his leisure time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and his sports cars. 

Besides his wife of 30 years, Lenora Moore, survivors include three daughters, Jeannie (James) Faber, Nancy Rhodus, and Sherrie Todd, all of Connersville; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Janice Hahn and Diana (Paul) Towler, all of Connersville; three brothers, David (Tracy) Moore of Connersville, Ronald (Laura) Moore of Arizona, Jerry (Susan) Moore of Connersville; a sister-in-law, Phyllis Moore of Connersville; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Danny was preceded in death by his father, Orville Moore; mother, Marie Bennett; brother, Kenneth Moore; sister, Sharon Moore; grandson, James Faber; brother-in-law, Donald Hahn; two nephews; and a niece.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, November 9, 2018, at Miller, Moster, Robbins Funeral Home.  Reverend Jeff Meadows will officiate.  Burial with military honors provided by the Fayette County Veterans Council will follow in Dale Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 8, 2018, at the funeral home.
