Elinor Eilean Lovins, 88, of Connersville passed away early Friday morning, August 10, 2018 at Caroleton Manor.
One of three children of Chester and Naomi Durbin Rush, Eilean was born in Shelby County, Indiana on June 14, 1930.
On June 28, 1954, Eilean married Theodore Lovins, Jr. in Hope, Indiana. Mr. Lovins passed away on May 13, 1979.
Always eager to help others, Eilean took pride in working at Fayette Memorial Hospital as a Nurses Aid for fifteen years, retiring in 1995.
She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Connersville and volunteered with Big Brothers/Big Sisters for many years.
Survivors include two children, Sheryl Lovins and Randy Lovins, both of Connersville; a daughter-in-law, Vera Lovins of Connersville; five grandchildren, Ryan (Amanda) Lovins, Jeremy (Kim) Lovins, Theodore Lovins, Chris (Chelsea) Lovins, Ariel Lovins; seven great-grandchildren; a sister, Hattie Caldwell of Hope, Indiana; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband of 24 years, Theodore Lovins, Jr., Eilean was preceded in death by a brother, Francis A. Rush and a son, Ronald Lovins.
Family and friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, August 13, 2018, in the North Room at Miller, Moster, Robbins Funeral Home. Pastor David Bragg will officiate. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, Lyonsville.
