Judith A. Jones, 92, of Connersville, died at 6:22 p.m. Sunday, October 21, 2018, at Heritage House Health Care Center where she was surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on August 9, 1926, in Connersville, one of ten children of William and Rose Hiltz Siefert. She moved at a young age back to her mother’s family farm in Dover, Indiana and graduated from Guilford High School in 1944. She returned to Connersville and lived with her Grandfather and Uncle on the family farm.

On October 6, 1951, she was married to Robert E. Jones at St. Gabriel Catholic Church in Connersville. Mr. Jones passed away on December 6, 1999.

For over 50 years, they farmed in Waterloo Township, and she assisted her husband in his excavating business.  She was a loving homemaker and devoted wife. She gave freely of herself and was always there to lend a helping hand to those in need.

She was devoted to her Catholic faith and attended Mass daily with her friends at St. Gabriel’s. She was a Eucharistic minister and brought communion to those in the nursing homes and shut-ins. She was a member of the Golden Gabriel’s, Culture Club, and Altrusa.

Survivors include two sons: Jeffrey T. Jones (Lori Siebel) of Miamisburg, Ohio and John D. Jones of Connersville; five grandchildren: Tara Jones-Roe (Brad), John Derek Jones, Autumn Manning (Scott), Jared Jones, and Jessica Montgomery (Joe); five great-grandchildren: Dylan Manning, Ayden Manning, Harrison Roe, Madeleine Roe, and Logan Montgomery; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Reverend Dustin Boehm at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 27, 2018, at St. Gabriel Catholic Church in Connersville. Friends may call on Saturday from 9:00 – 10:30 a.m. at Miller, Moster, Robbins Funeral Home where the rosary will be recited at 10:30 am. Burial will be made in Dale Cemetery.
