Kathaleen May Throop, 67, a lifelong resident of Connersville, passed away Wednesday afternoon, April 17, 2019, surrounded by her loving family and friends in the Emergency Room of Fayette Regional Health System.
The oldest of seven children, Kathaleen was born on January 13, 1952, and came to Connersville with her family as a child.
On May 21, 1973, Kathaleen married Charles E. Throop in Connersville. Mr. Throop passed away on October 26, 2009.
For over 15 years, Kathaleen was employed at J and J Manufacturing of Sunman, Indiana. In her leisure time, she enjoyed playing bingo, working on puzzles, and spending time with her family.
Survivors include two children, Tammy L. Taylor (companion, Brad Congelton) and Charles J. (Barbara) Throop, all of Connersville; five grandchildren, Robert Lee McGillem of Greensburg, Indiana, Anthony Joe Taylor, David Joe Taylor, Shelby Lanee (Tyler) Gay, all of Connersville, and Garrett Hunter Throop (companion, Hailey Dyer) of Dayton, Ohio; a great-grandson, Mason M Gay; four sisters, Wilma (Larry) Baker of Brookville, Indiana, Melody Adams of Anderson, Indiana, Peggy Wallen, and Carolyn Adams, both of Connersville; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Besides her husband of 36 years, Charles Throop, Kathaleen was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Eugene and Samuel Adams.
Family and friends may call from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, April 22, 2019, at Miller, Moster, Robbins Funeral Home. Reverend Ronnie Russell will officiate. Burial will follow in Dale Cemetery.
