Nancy M. Moore, 85, of Connersville passed away with her loving children, family, and friends by her side on January 27, 2018, at Heritage House of Connersville.

One of two children of Ardell and Helen Senefeld Salyers, Nancy was born on October 15, 1932, in Connersville.

Nancy attended St. Gabriel School and Connersville High School.  She met the love of her life, Raymond L. Moore when she was 15 years old, and they were married two years later in the rectory at St. Gabriel Catholic Church on January 7, 1950.  Mr. Moore passed away on January 9, 2016.

Before her marriage, Nancy was employed at Newberry's Department Store and Ash’s Dress Shop.  After she was married, Nancy devoted herself to her husband, her children, and her home.

For several years, Nancy traveled with her husband for his job at Stant Manufacturing.  She loved the ocean, especially off the coast of California and had always hoped to return there for a visit.  Nancy was a member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church and in her leisure time enjoyed reading.

Survivors include two children, Michael R. Moore and wife, Shirley, and Karen S. Powell and husband, Richard, all of Connersville; a grandson, Chad Powell of Connersville; three great-grandchildren, Zachary, Christopher, and Shaylan Powell; great-great-grandchildren, Ezra, Samiyah, and Caden.  Nancy was blessed with a number of loving nieces, nephews, and in-laws.

Besides her husband of 66 years, Raymond Moore, Nancy is preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Donald Salyers; a nephew, Stephen Salyers; grandmother, Magdalena Roth Senefeld.

Family and friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 2, 2018, at Miller, Moster, Robbins Funeral Home.  Reverend Dustin Boehm will officiate.  Interment will be in Dale Cemetery.
