Steve Glen Davis

November 3, 1959 ~ April 17, 2018 (age 58)

 

Steve Glen Davis, 58, of Connersville, passed away Tuesday afternoon, April 17, 2018, at Reid Health in Richmond, Indiana.

One of three children of Leslie Lee and Ann Hudson Davis, Steve was born in Wheeling West Virginia on November 3, 1959.

Steve graduated from Connersville High School and the Whitewater Vocational School with the class of 1977 and attended Ivy Tech College.

For a year, Steve worked at Metal Plating in Connersville, and in 1979 he was employed at Roots Blower for several years. 

On October 3, 1981, Steve married the former Kristy Stater in Connersville.  Mrs. Davis survives.

Steve attended First United Methodist Church of Connersville and was a member of the Spinal Cord Society for Research, Wild Turkey Federation, and he helped establish the Wildlife Heritage Endowment through the Fayette County Foundation.

Besides his wife of 36 years, Kristy Davis, survivors include his mother, Ann (Marion) Faber of Everton; two brothers, Pete (Diane) Davis of Grapev ine, Texas, Paul (Joy) Davis of the Philippines; a sister, Donna Bruns of Lyons, Georgia; step-brother, Tim (Janet) Faber; step-sister, Kim (Phil) Hamilton; sister-in-law, Lee Ann (Robin) Bremmer of Columbus, Indiana; nephews, John Paul Davis of the Philippines; Chris Bremmer of San Diego, California; a niece, Jess (Chase) Kittinger of Columbus, Indiana; great-niece, Kolby Kittinger of Columbus, Indiana; step-nieces and nephews, Tiffany Faber, Brittany Faber, Ginine Klemme, and Colleen Hamilton.

Steve was preceded in death by his father, Leslie Lee Davis; mother-in-law, Mary Stater; father-in-law, Max Stater; and a step-niece, Mandy Hamilton.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 23, 2018 at Miller, Moster, Robbins Funeral Home.  Reverend Frank Oakman will officiate.  Burial will follow in Dale Cemetery.  Friends may call from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 22, 2018 at the funeral home.
