Paul Von Myers, 72, of Shelbyville, Indiana passed away Tuesday evening, June 25, 2019, at Cypress Run Hall, Morristown, Indiana.
The youngest of two sons of Paul and Mary Mason Myers, Paul was born in Richmond, Indiana on October 20, 1946. He graduated from Whitewater Township High School with the class of 1964. During the Vietnam War, he served with the U. S. Air Force.
On August 16, 1969, Von married the former Connie Sue Raridan in Laurel and they moved to Shelbyville in 1993. Mrs. Myers passed away on January 10, 2015.
For over 26 years, he was employed as a crop applicator for Shelby County Co-Op located in Rays Crossing in Shelby County. Von just recently retired from his work because of his ill health and deeply appreciated the support and kindness showed to him from the farming community he served.
Von was a member of Little Blue River Baptist Church in Shelby County.
Survivors include a son, Aric Von Myers of Shelbyville; a granddaughter, Shelby Myers of Liberty; a brother, Larry (Melissa) Myers of Connersville; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Besides his wife of 45 years, Connie Sue Myers, Von is preceded in death by his parents; and a son, Brent Myers, who died in 2000.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 1, 2019, at Miller, Moster, Robbins Funeral Home. Reverend Robert Langdon will officiate. Burial with military honors will follow in College Corner Cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 30, 2019, at the funeral home.
